Also, on Monday evening, Seattle’s Pacific Science Center will light its arches blue in honor of World Diabetes Day (Nov. 14). Wear blue in support of this day and take the opportunity to educate friends, family, and co-workers about diabetes, symptoms, and prevention. JDRF is partnering with the Benaroya Research Institute, Seattle Children’s Hospital, University of Washington, American Diabetes Association, Mary Bridge Hospital, and many regional healthcare organizations to raise awareness throughout the Puget Sound.
